    OME, Deaver, Dakar...

A 3 leaf add on to your current factory springs if still in great shape will easily last you years and years past what OEM will last you. I know because I run a 3+ add on.. and I have beat the ever loving hell out of my packs. Still going incredibly strong.

Yes it will. Overall height after fill assembly will be anything from 1.75-2.25 depending how many leafs you use or if you want to use your overload spring.

For the money like stated above go ome or a 3 leaf aal that goes on your factory leafs. I had icon aal prior to ome dakars an they rode great unloaded any real weight in the back it would sag i had about 1.5in lift without the overload leaf in.
Now I have ome HD dakar pack an it ride is good also a little stiff but nothing unbearable. Loaded up no sag an it rides like a dream.

Unfortunately it looks like I will need to replace the oem leafs. Anybody use the SD 4x4 3-leafs or another brand for complete direct replacements?

From what I've seen on here General Spring KC has some good options for 3 leaf and 4 leaf (HD) packs

A few mods here and there and counting....
It would be cheaper if you look for TSB leaf pack take offs on craigslist or the classifieds if you're gonna stay oem ride height.

Are you trying to lift all around (front and rear)? Goals besides lift? Hauling and towing capacity? Budget?

The problem with Toyota leafs is that they're shit. I can't advise replacing shit with shit. Just like I can't advise adding a progressive leaf pack to shit as a band-aid. However, that solution is better than a single AAL, but the problem still remains; the Toyota leafs.

TSB 4 pack leafs are not shit. Now if you ride on them for over 100k and then add 3 leaf AAL's to it I cannot and will not attest for longevity, but considering I rode for something around 25k on the 4 pack leafs then added 3 leaf AAL's (kept the overload), then beat the ever loving shit out of them off road and have made it to 100k and they still retain their arch and perform amazingly tells me that the leafs are not as shit as most people would be quick to accuse them of.

Also, I apologize for the run on sentence.

How much are should rear leaves have? My 2014 has 85000 on it. (I've had it for 10k). It obviously had a cap on it at some point before I bought it as there's a pigtail there for the third brake light. Truck rides fine though the leaves sit essentially flat. Thinking of adding some new 5100s and front and rear springs. Was looking at AALs from Headstrong but not sure if I should be looking for new leaf packs instead?

If they're flat or negative arched, you should be looking to replace the whole pack. Otherwise you'd be adding a band-aid to the real issue

I can attest to the 4 leaf TSB not being crap. I had the TSB done for free at 28K. I now have 180K on the truck and they are still arched high and supporting any load I put in the bed of my Taco.

Well look under your truck and check them out. Good leafs should have some arch to them, like a smiley face. Flat or frowning springs mean it's probably time to upgrade, especially if your bed sags when loaded. Depending on how you use your truck you might be able to add a leaf (AAL) but most folks on this forum agree that the stock leaf springs suck and should be replaced all together.
