First thing that came to mind. Their job was to sell OP the warranty and extra crap, and they did just that.

OP, you can do what you want to do here - trading in for a Tundra - very easily and still probably get positive equity doing so, but you need to go to the dealership and cancel all the warranty stuff first. If you planned on getting it for your Tundra then see if they will transfer it. But as others have stated, the fact that you had all that replaced puts you in the 10% of people who actually benefited from a warranty. I know, because I have been there too but it was on a shady ass bad credit loan and an even shadier dealer. I learned all this the hard way. The fact is that 55% of people don't use these extended warranties, and 90% of those who do end up paying more for the warranty than the parts covered by the warranty. So like most "insurance" if you think that 10% is worth the extra, then do you and get the warranty. But you should still sell any mods you made that cannot be transferred to the Tundra privately.

I still think your best option is to go cancel all the warranty stuff, wait for it to show on the principle, then go in and reap the benefits of this upside down market with positive equity. It's very likely after doing all this that the dealer will even offer you equity towards your trade in. But selling privately is a major pain in the ass and I highly doubt anyone is willing to pay that much extra even with the market being the way it is. Not saying it isn't worth a shot, because it is. Just know what you are getting into trying to sell privately. If you've ever sold anything using an online service before then amplify the bad experiences by 10, lol. Especially trying to explain the extra warranty and extra cost.

Im divided between an SR5 4x4 22 tundra, or a Ram Express 2 door with the V8 and 4x4

Honestly, I think I just got the new truck syndrome because a friend I brought in to do some work at my office also has a Tacoma and kept talking to me about the Tundra...I think I might just KD MaXXX my truck and keep it as is.

How do you/did you like the Dick Cepek extreme countries?

255/85/16 right? I want to change from Falken AT3 265/75/16 but afraid they will be heavy and mess up my awesome MPG

Yessir, I had those exact same tires before. They were great, but I like these even more.

I had the same doubts as you about MPGs, but they didn't affect mine much. 1mpg is anything. I also didn't notice any difference with acceleration. They stop a lot better tho. I also got it regeared which helped a lot with the overall driving issues that these trucks have stock.
