I am in Peru this week. I have not seen a single Tacoma, but quite a few Hilux's. They don't look that much smaller than a Tacoma. What is the size difference?

Edit^2: Didn't take any pics of a Hilux. The Tacoma looks a lot better than the Hilux.

Similar models (4x4; DC) - Tacoma is approx. 2in longer, 2in wider, and about an inch shorter

I drove one quite a bit. The inside felt shorter length wise as did the bed. But then again, most vehicles are smaller outside of the US

Obligatory selfie, but no pics of the 'truck' in question. Given the cosmetic abomination that is the Hilux and the selfie we've all just been subjected to, I'm not sure how I feel about this thread.

Are you in/fly into Lima? Driving on the Pan Americana is a trip, huh? It's basically anything goes in Peru.

Lima, then Cusco, then Sacred Valley. Right now we are on a train headed to Macchu Picchu. Tomorrow we hike Huayna Picchu. Love it here.

    Here are two Hilux trucks.
