I got the rago ARB mount with the wifey bracket.

I plan on mounting a switch pros to the underside (rather than the top, to keep it warranty compliant) of the back of the bracket (nearest the firewall).

I like the idea of the bus bars etc to connect accessories but I'd also like to keep it all clean and not full of dirt/mud/water.

My thought is to do something like this (this is the large, maybe the medium?)

Between the firewall and the ARB next to the brake reservoir. Then put the bus bars and everything inside of that with waterproof pass throughs for the wiring.

Is it overkill, probably. Do I care? Not really.

If there's any reason this is an absolutely terrible plan (and not just "unnecessary"), I'm open to feedback. Also for constructive improvement to the plan.

Does anyone have a good picture (or can take one) showing how much space ends up back there?
I don't have the switch pros or the compressor yet. That's why I'm asking.

Another option is to terminate the switchpro output to receptacles that you can seal the unused positions of the matching plug and populate the plugs as you go. That would be way smaller, something like Deutsch DTP or DT depending on current requirements.

But then I've got a gaggle of connectors flopping around and I need mates with plugs to maintain the seal.
I also still need a ground bus somewhere as well.

Although an excuse to buy a big set of DT connectors might come in handy

Yeah, but I was thinking like a 4-position DTP for two loads (load + ground) and then a 12-position DT for the remaining 6 loads. As you add loads you just depopulate the sealing plugs and add the contacts and away you go. Sadly I think DTP and DT are lower current capacity than what the 9100 can do but they should be good for most things...

I haven't installed one yet, but the above is my plan when I do.
