How much will sliders realistically flex?

So I began the process of mounting/modifying my 4xInnovations sliders onto my truck last night and after having one tacked up completely I began do think...when the truck is on the slider on a rock or using high lift jack how much will the slider actually flex?

The reason I ask is that I don't care for the sliders that stick out a bunch or that are too flat; I want mine super high and tight (they're not a step). After getting the first one set where I wanted it, it would really only leave about an inch of gap when you open the doors to the slider. They will be welded to the frame and we'll fab up some longer gussets/braces for the legs but should I worry that they're too tight to the body?

You should leave atleast a 1/2" of gap between he slider and the rocker panel. If you have an inch you should be ok

I've done a mod or two
Both the sliders and the frame will flex quite a bit as well as the body moving on the frame. My sliders clearance my body the first time I slammed it over a rock. Good to go now
