My auto is less impressed with my minor mods.

I'm not sure of how much added weight is on my 4cyl. Tacoma work truck, but going across the scales at the landfill she weighs 4900 lbs. + after subtracting my weight. With stock 4.10's and 33's on it I can usually get close to 20 mpg in the summer, but drop to 16 + when running this winter gas crap. It also does exactly the same on the highway, or in town. I couldn't imagine trying to run this rig with an automatic....

No way, that's just what I do during the day to finance Tacoma pipe dreams. I wouldn't ever throw a carburetor on my truck lol I'm willing to give up the mileage for larger tires, skid plates, and 4.88 gears. I'm still playing with the grim jeeper calculator though, haven't decided for sure what gears to go to. I plan everything methodically, when I have it planned out how I want, I'll order up a mountain of parts and get to work one at a time.

I have a 5spd. I've been creeping on your thread for awhile btw, really sweet build. I've learned a lot reading it.

4.88s and 35's are perfect imo I love how my truck drives with them

Thanks man I've learned a lot since I got the truck.... my next challenge will be setting up my rear suspension

I'm guessing that the end of that day didn't turn out the way you envisioned it, eh?
Ah, 20's.... one day you will realize that women are EASY, and you don't have to do stupid crap to get in their pants.
