Same here, I can always repaint the truck in 10 years. But trying to fix rust is a losing battle that I have lost many times

I know a guy who owns a car wash, he told me to never get anything over the $5 option. It's all just filler. He only makes around a $4 on the $5 option on the $15 he makes $10 and the $20 he makes $15

Around here, you have to get the more expensive wash to get the under carriage spray.

Thanks! The market is crazy, we got ours under appraisal even using my VA loan after a few failed other offers (people offering over asking and paying difference if it appraises for less). Congrats to you as well!

Hand wash only, (Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash Shampoo) never an automatic car wash... and then (by chemical guys):
micro-fiber-towel dry then light spray-wax.. Special attention to wheels as well. We got free vacuum around here so I get
the inside cleaned up often as well.

In Arizona we get 1 month of hell-rain a year and that's about it so you can get away with a beautiful wash a few times a year unless
of course you hit the dusty roads etc.

But, if I had it my way, once a week as I like a nice clean ride. I wash the wife's Forester as well but she complains that I'm gonna
wash the paint off of it LOL... I enjoy it, it's kinda like cutting the grass ( if you have it ), it's mindless, usually nobody dies in the
process, and nobody gets hurt, ... fortunes are not won or lost... careers are not made or foiled... it's just a good mindless thing to do.

Lately I've had health issues that curtail sustained movement so I've had to back off, but as soon as temps drop below 110 I'll be
out there again, ( with the doctors ok) ... usually early evening and into sunset and beyond... if the wife is ever out of town I
start the process around dark-thirty and spend several hours out there going to town on it.

I normally hand wash my truck but occasionally run it through an automatic car wash if I’m pressed for time.

I always hand wash mine, though regularly tempted to run it through a car wash.

Check out the one on swisher blvd (I said justin earlier but that's not the one). There's a cool dude there that has the same Tacoma as you. I thought you were him for a split second but different trim and wheels.

PREACH ON!! It’s a truck. It looks better with some marks on it.

I haven’t touched mine in a bit. 4 kids, full time job. I just focus on keeping it maintained!! It may just get some love tomorrow!

Never. I have a 3 mile drive on a dusty dirt road to the highway. It's a waste of time.
