I work in construction, so I throw it in 4WD a fair amount when I'm on loose graded dirt and fill.

Wow, maybe 10-12" of ground clearance with that setup.

4WD a couple of times a month to keep things lubed up and when required in winter conditions. Usually at intersections for traction.

Each month, there is a long straight multi mile frontage road that I drive. Engage 4wd and roll about 45 to 50. Keeps the actuators working real nice when you really need 4wd. Good luck with your truck.

I jump the speed bumps and engage and disengage 4wd while airborne. No chance of binding that way. Also I can rack up the required 10 miles in a relatively short time.

As needed. Or monthly, whichever comes first to keep the solenoids and gears engaged.

This is the preferred method for 4L, but for 4H it’s often best while spinning wildly in on side...the “clunk” is a “built in recovery strap”.
[TW always has excellent advice, just not from me]

I use it every day when coming to work as it helps me get over the curbs.
This is true, but I can't let them think I put that on there after. Speaking of which, I should make it bigger. The bigger the decal, the better the 4x4 capability, right?

Yep but I have short term memory issue so it's never that often! Then there are others that tell you never to do that unless you are on glare ice. Funny the manual never mentions that.

Winter time I use it a couple times a week heading out skiing, summer time it goes a bit longer between but I try to run it monthly.

He converted to electric motors in the axles. He put Tesla high output motors. Thing does 9 second 1/4 mile.
