turning 24 in december. just graduated college and got a real job that afforded me my ninja and taco. i guess you pay a price for toys of the octane type. $1000 skis and $2000 mtn. bikes seem like value now - haha.

Yeah, props for working for it. I don't want to hate, but high school kids around here whine about the brand new cars their parents buy them (BMW/Lexus/Benz). One kid down the street from my friend complains about his '08 Frontier V6 4X4. Parents told him that if he gets good grades they will buy him a new Evo. Sure enough, he maintained a 2.0 and got it. I see most of these toys come up at salvage auctions months later. The SRT4 Neon was notorious as are WRXs and STis. One kid killed himself in his E36 M3 2 years ahead of my class. Damn shame but you gotta wonder what goes through the parent's heads. Sorry for the off-topic rant. But respect for the workers out there. You earned it.

My first car was a 72 lemans. 16yr old car for a 16 yr old. I got it from my grandparents. I had to pay for all repairs, gas and insurance. I paid my own way through College with no help from my parents and still paid off 30grand of loans through college and paid off 6 months after granduation. I bought my new '05 toyota pickup as a grad gift from me to me with love.

OK... I'm done. GOD I feel like an old man saying back in my day.
