So we have been thinking of getting a new SUV and the local Jeep dealer has GC Laredos for under 28k, which is not a bad deal. I am so-so about Jeep, because they are owned by Chrysler. This is a 2WD plain Laredo, nothing fancy, with the Pentstar V6 engine. I know they fixed those tranny issues they had from last year. Any advice would be suggested.

Don't want your thread barged into and derailed by someone else?

Imagine that. It sucks, doesn't it?

Do as I say, not as I do, for that would be unfair.

Grand Cherokees aren't off-road vehicles these days. They drive real nice and are pretty luxurious.

Jeep doesn't have a good enough reliability record for me. I had an 05' GC that I bought in 13' and sold in 15' after putting over $4,500 into repairs over the two years I had it. It road nice but that was an expensive ride, and I didn't mod anything!

I no longer own a taco and bought ajeep but the folks in the azbs thread have been welcoming...in their own way... He was just asking the car community he belongs to their advice.
