    Ah okay, I'm still an offroading rookie.
    Good point, I always wondered. I've only been in 4Lo once and it was in crazy soft sand.

    I stay in 4lo 90% of the time I'm on a trail, unless I'm on the fire road leading in/out. I don't have Kings or Icons so I never really go above 15mph when I'm off-roading, so I just leave it in 4lo and work through the gears until I know I'm on a stretch of dirt that I can go faster on comfortably for awhile.
