This is like the 300th "I asked for a warranty that covers me if I ever drive my truck on the moon and for 2 billion miles" thread i've read and i've only been on here like 7 months.

Some of you spend 3 weeks replying and fighting on the internet about some minor dealer inconvenience like your time is fucking gold.

Anyway, I agree. People asking for the moon due to a minor inconvenience gets old. You can always try it and see what happens but don't be shocked when they don't give you items worth hundreds or sometimes thousands of dollars retail.

Sounds like you did the dealer a favor by taking the vehicle off the lot (and their books) before month end close. I'd pay a visit to the GM, remind him of this fact, and ask that the favor be repaid by putting in your remote starter ASAP. Sounds reasonable to me.

 

Oh and the sales guy certainly won't talk to people he works with.

I don't think the dealership went above and beyond. The OP helped them out by getting the truck off their books, them offering to come and pick it up is nothing. The OP is making it difficult for them to make it happen, that's the hold up.
