How staticky are the fabric/cloth seats?

I'm planning on purchasing a Tacoma and would like the SoftTec seats BUT can't afford it and was wondering how staticky are the fabric/cloth seats in winter?

 

They are much better than other cloth seats I have had in the past. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

 

Lol.... I clicked this thread just to see WTF you were talking about. Now I get it. No issues I live in the North where it gets cold and very dry, zero issues. Don't worry.

 

Enough static to discharge onto a gas pump if you get in and out, esp if you are wearing fleece.

I surprised at how little static I've experienced with the cloth seats. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised as well.

 

Hold a key (a real one) or coin tightly between your thumb and forefinger.

Touch it to grounded metal and you'll be discharged pain free

Learned in a wool carpeted office at the water fountain.
