I was planning to mount a winch to a piece of unistrut and bolt it to the tie
downs. I wouldn't be winching anything extremely heavy into the bed maybe lawn equipment. Will they be strong enough.
    Thanks

The bed D rings that tie into the frame? Fairly strong. However pulling at a angle will put stress on the fiberglass bed.

If its just lawn equipment you should be fine. But I would be extremely careful how its mounted so you don’t ruin the inside of the bed.

Bolt it to the bed bolts that go to the frame. Any winch will pull apart the fiberglass bed and/or rail mounts.

Or do something like this bolted to the floor of the bed which would be way better than bolting it to the sides.

If you mean the D rings, it's probably ok, but I'd probably opt to get a set of bed stiffeners, such as the ones from Total Chaos. They replace the D rings and give you another tie down point to replace that while spreading the stresses out over a much larger area rather than just concentrating it in one. Plus it utilizes the bolts that go into the frame.

If you mean the tie downs near the cab, I would trust those as tie downs, but not likely as a winch mount. You could also consider something that mounts to the bed rails. Those are pretty strong, but if you want any weight to go on top of the bed rails or have any stress that will push/pull laterally on the bed walls, I recommend at least getting some bed stiffeners.

I never trusted the strap loop tie downs on the bedsides up front for anything other than securing two milk crates. I got some Fastenal d-rings and bolted them to the front bed bolts. I left the rear stock d-rings alone as they are mounted to a metal c-section.
