I removed the tail light assembly and I can see all three bulbs entering the housing from the rear.

How the fack do I get the reverse light bulb (or any for that matter) out of the housing?

It doesn't twist to potentially free any kind of locking mechanism. I tried just pulling straight out... didn't want to seem to move.

    Help please :(

Pull the lens apart from the assembly. There's a rubber line that seals it it.

Grab the bulb with your fingers.
IIRC. Push in and turn. Or just 1/4 turn and pull

with the factory tail light housings...
the bulbs are removed from the interior
and the lens must be removed to do so.
with a twist... tho' a slight push in may be required
to push the spring in just slightly.
The bulb socket(s) at the back side of the housing stay put.

the bulb sockets have two small nibs on their base.
    the 1157's are staggered
and 1156's are in line with each other.
This is so you cannot mistakenly attempt to put the wrong bulb into the wrong socket.

for most after market tail lights...
the bulb sockets need be removed at the rear of the housings...
before the bulb can be removed.

    Thank you all.

So just gently pry the lens off the housing to separate?

yes... should be nothing holding that...
unless it is mounted to the truck with the four screws securing that.
There is also a rubber sealing strip in the groove that the lens rests in...
so don't lose that or screw up it's fitment in the groove...
that rubber strip acts as the water proof seal between the housing and the lens.

There is a plastic bridge at the back up light...
and that is loose, simply secured in place when the lens is in place.
It only goes in one way... so don't try to put that in backasswards...
or you'll have a hard time with that.

Yep, gently pry the lens from the housing.

Also remember to add a little di-electric (a little dab on your pinky finger is more than enough) back to the seal. This will keep the dreaded moisture from getting your housing and making everything look like crap.

Just run that dab of dielectric grease along the entire seal?

Presumably on the face of the seal that presses up against the back side of the lens?

lol i just pulled them apart man and bolted them back up..mostiure in tail lights is not near as big an issue as head lights.

Just take it apart damn it :p

I feel like you need to break something just to get used to it and then you'll be more comfortable tearing it apart lol

you don't need put any grease on the lens seal...

the electrical grease is to minimize corrosion and make better contacts for the bulb sockets.

Never used it on these before...
I personally think that stuff is just a dirt magnet...
and would only use it in highly corrosive areas of the USA
