I just got the Pearce Grip Extension for my Glock 27. The instructions say to press down on the button on the bottom of the magazine, squeeze the end of the magazine, and push forward. However, after much frusteration I have 1 broken magazine lol. I have 2 more, but don't want to mess up the other ones. Has anyone installed one of these on theres, and if so, how the hell did ya get it on there. I am guessing it is operator error, but this seems like a PIA to get off.

The stock baseplate is a PITA to remove.

The "button" is on a flat plate that covers the entire bottom of the mag. It is only part of what secures the base.
There are two tabs on the sides of the base that latch into the body.

Yes... you have to depress the plate, and at the same time expand the mag body while sliding the base off the front.

    It really takes 4 hands.

Yea, so far no luck. I even had my brother hold the button down while I tried to squeeze on the mag with no luck. Took a pair of vice grips to it, that didn't end well... Really a PITA. If I can't get it, I might take it to a local gun shop and see if they have better luck, but I'd rather not since its such a petty thing.
