LOL! Well, it might help if I actually took the plastic shrink-wrap off the owners manual and looked thru it .. But you know how it goes.
    Manual's are only as a Last Resort .. :D

Cameras are cheap these days. Install a WiFi camera inside your vent and connect it to your trucks WiFi as backup and home WiFi.

I dont think I’d ever need to do this but I’m sure someone could figure it out, build a kit and make a few bucks

Yep I have the H key with remote buttons. Press 2x and all 4 doors unlock. I'm sure it's probably the same for the proximity key fob as well.
I don't have the door handles you can just touch with the key on you to unlock but I thought some years came with that on the passenger side door also, some did not.

You are probably joking, but for anyone reading - don’t do this. It makes the air we breathe worse and is illegal under federal law.

LOL! My dad used to say that owner manuals were for 'nancy-boys & grandmas' ... So I kinda' treat them like they're covered in spiders. Sometimes though, ya gotta bite the bullet. I still have the shrink-wrap on mine, so ... So far, so good .. LOL!!:)

It's only illegal if someone finds out about it.

I remember the coil wire trick, did that a few times at concerts..or just unhooked the battery since my cars didn't have alarms and I didn't care about radio presets.

Yup cost me $3 to get a new key cut for my truck. Same amount for my wife's 2014 Rav4, which won't start the truck (because of the lockout) but I just wanted to have it on my keychain in case she locks her keys in the truck. I still need to get her a spare key though.

Yup. I had a couple of vehicles with the Chapman lock as well.

True. I was torn. My last two SUVs were manual.... but I also have a bad bumper to bumper commute and it’s my DD.

Yup I had a few of those radios as well, never cared to tune radio though..

I definitely wanted that spare key right away, if nothing else for that emergency reason.
