How-To: 1GR-FE Supercharger Installation

Perhaps on the passenger side, the same holes to screw into on the driver side should be on the passenger side as well.

 

Thanks guys, Ill have to check the passenger side. I have TOO many wires/relays set up in that driver corner to relocate all that stuff. Not worth the cost of redoing all 6 switches haha

 

So, I've heard from a few people that trd didnt make superchargers for my truck ('08 trd sport 6 speed) Is this true? I think it would be super badass to have a supercharged truck. Also, would the K&N intake work with the supercharger?

 

Tis true, Magnuson made the blower unit, and TRD added their stamp. And even though TRD dropped the Supercharger program, Magnuson continued to make the blower.

That Super Charger Whine is addictive and must be fed with premium gas.

 

Regarding installation.... Bought truck used which had SC already installed. Receipt for installation alone was in my truck. The guy bought the SC and had dealer install when truck had approx 700 miles.

Install alone was $998 OTD!

Finished my install this week. Hardest part was figuring out how to hold the crankshaft pulley for torque on an automatic trans. Found this loaner tool at O'REILLY auto parts that worked perfectly.
