I just bought my truck a couple weeks ago, used. I don't have an owners manual for it.

Tonight I switched on the inverter for the first time to test an outlet I added into my center console, so my teenagers can charge their stuff from the backseat.

I push the inverter switch once and the 100W light comes on. Push it twice and nothing changes. Push a 3rd time and the light goes off.

What's the secret to getting the 400W to come on?

Also I did the anytime power mod while I was in there. Not sure if that is affecting anything. Cut the purple, grounded the pink.

Grounded the pink on the passenger side?

I'm not sure what could be wrong, the 100w setting doesnt work for me anymore since I did the 400w anytime mod. It will only light up the 400w now in any circumstance.

    Yes pass side.

I used a heat shrink butt splice. I should probably put my multimeter on there and verify its grounded. Maybe I have a bad crimp at the butt splice or ring terminal.

Maximum available capacity of the power outlet

    ■ While the vehicle is being driven

The maximum capacity of the power outlet is always 120 VAC/100 W.

    ■ When the vehicle is stationary

The maximum capacity of the power outlet varies depending on the following conditions.

    ● The maximum capacity is 120 VAC/400 W when the following condition applies: • The shift lever is in P or N. (automatic transmission)
