I absolutely love my new 2011 Access cab and wondering how to add a blinking alarm LED w/o adding a after-market alarm.

I've factory keyless entry system and really don't need to add a alarm, but I think the blinking LED might help deter thefts.

Does anyone know how to wire blinking alarm LED so when I lock the door w/ a remote, then the light starts to blink?
Where to find quality Alarm LED's?

Also, my Taco came w/ factory RED anti-theft stickers... do I have a factory alarm already installed? it's just basic 2011 Access cab w/ convenience package. I don't see alarm feature on the original window sticker.

Dude $55 itself is pretty cheap for good quality LEDs, unless you want to go the pepboys or walmart route. I was actually worried that it was so inexpensive.

I have no affiliation with aznoptics LEDs, I don't even own those. But it's worth noting that its two strips of 5 LEDs PER strip that is already weather proofed/cased and ready to be mounted.

Buying one single LED bulb for $6.99 suddenly isn't such a deal anymore?

Hey just wondering if the OP or anyone has tried adding something like the six dollar LED listed above? I don't have the anti theft LED but have a spot in dash next to the airbag for it and was looking to add an led that blinks when the ignition is off. Thanks!

Thanks but that's what I was talking about using. My tacoma doesn't have that and I was looking for a way to fake it.
