I want to occupy one of the switch blanks below the cigarette lighters. How do I get behind that part of the dash to install a new switch? I've removed the center console, but that doesn't give me access.

You gotta take out the climate controls. And are you running wires to a new switch or what are you doing?

I didn't need to remove the climate control panel. I just drilled into the dummy plug and pulled it right out. Was able to run my wiring from behind and fed it through the front with a wire clothes hanger.

Or you can go that route as stated above
