    Hey guys,

    I have 5100s all around on my Taco, and I'm looking to raise them a little like I hear so many of you guys talking about. Anywhere someone can direct me for more details, or how to check where they're set at now?

    We all gotta start somewhere. Previous owner looks to of added some leafs too, but I'm new and need to do more research.

    Too few to list.
    A picture is worth a thousand words... If your bottom of fender to center wheel hub is about 22-23", it's set at 2.5" which is max, below that would be 1.75".

    Take a look at where the spring perch is set. If there are only lines below where it is now it's at 2.5, if they're all above it you're at 0. If not you're somewhere in between.

    2" lift AAL and Bilstiens-front-rear,front diff drop. main drive drop
    5100 Bil 2 gens-- are they the same as 1st gens????
    If so, there is an adjustabe ring on the shocks.
    Pretty sure you will need to remove the shocks to reset to a higher level. Not as easy as a simple adjustment.

    Those definitely look like stock TRD bilsteins, which aren't 5100s

    Stock shocks / springs, you have a very minimal lift, I'd say 1" up front.

    This is the way I bought the truck and I've done plenty of mods but left suspension alone. I want to learn more and add a slight lift. Thinking 5100's, but not sure yet.

    You do currently have a slight lift. Might want to figure out what that spacer is.

    So the slight lift is that silver spacer from my first photo? Correct? haha. I'm new to lifts.

    And what about the back? I read some 2012+ were getting four leafs instead of 3.

    Rear suspension looks stock too. You do not have TSB leafs and from that pic they look pretty flat like the rest of us with stock leafs :eek:

    If you do decide to put some money into a lift get a new leaf pack.

    OME makes a good product. There's a few good stickies in the suspension section.

    Bottom line is just build it for your intended use the first time around, otherwise you end up doing things over and over until you're happy.
