    YES, This is a fact.
I have been through 3 AALs on my stockers and the only answer is OME Dakars.
I did OME front springs and shocks also.
Cry once and be done with it!
Good luck on your suspension quest.

Yeah, I have an AAL in and it only makes it more obvious how shot the stock leafs are. Not a huge deal as the AAL real cheap but soon I'll be replacing the entire leaf pack with chevy 63s. Dakars get a lot of praise too, if the chevy springs weren't so cheap that's where I'd go.

I'm not trying to sway you from the AAL, it will give you lift... Just don't look at your leafs after a dew thousand miles with it in. ;)

ok so AAL is a bad way to go..

So I could go 5100's all around, and some OME Dakars for the rear. Be about $700. Or am I missing something. haha.

    Nope that's accurate.

Most people usually swap the front springs as well but the billies will lift it up to 2.5". Let me snap you a pic of my leafs just so you can see what in talking about. I'm not saying don't do it, just letting you know it isn't ideal.

Look at toytecs website for lift ideas too

It's a little hard to see the extent of it I. The pics but the stock springs are kind of S shaped. The AAL is clearly the only leaf with any shape left in it.

The AAL is second from the bottom. Bottom is the overload.

I would strongly suggest reading up for a while on different lift options before spending money. You really need to determine what you want to do with the truck to know what to do to lift it.

    Too few to list.
AAL will give you a lift but makes for a stiff rear end. I've had my AAL for a while now with little to no sag and I have a shell and carry stuff in the back. The measurements when I put it on and the measurements now are still the same. With a load, it sags .5" to 1" depending on how heavy of a load. Shell makes the ride a lot more tolerable.

I have the AAL and Billies front and rear with Eibach coils up front. Billies set to 1.75. Haven't had any problems. Got the whole set up from Toytec.

Circling back to the lift idea... Still unsure of what to do or what I want.

I rarely go off road, and if so it's to my family cabin with a little rough terrain, and finding a good fishing spot. Nothing too crazy. Cars go down there, but not around back or to my fishing spots :)

I just want to add 3 or so inches, nothing overboard. I liked the look of a maxtrac 4/2 lift I saw in a thread, but I'm looking to spend under $1k. Even a Billie 5100 set on max might be enough.
