Just to add a little more fuel to the 63 fire. This was the first trip out where I've actually lifted a tire. :D

And some video from the weekend. I had some gnarly downhill runs, but the truck went out of the shot due to the gimbal. Need to change the setting so that it stays focused on the hood when going downhill.

How does the ride feel compared to stock or after market leafs like all pro or dakars? Smoother/softer or stiffer?

smoother/softer compared to stock. I actually ran them rear end with NO shocks for a few weeks and only the Chevy leafs. A little floaty or bouncy but they felt fine

Don't run without shocks if you run the skyjackers. That shit was terrifying.

haha mine actually wasn't bad, only thing I noticed was that when I would floor it, the rear end would bob back a little and rock up and down til leveled out

Ahhhh good to know. Same or better bump travel? I'm not as concerned with more droop, it would be a nice benefit, but I mostly want a smoother/better ride on and off road

With the 63 swap you'll be gaining downtravel, not so much up travel. I only have two inched up before I hit my bumps and another 2" of squish in the bumps, so a grand total of 4" of uptravel. The 12" of downtravel is where it's at.

I cut my bump stop extensions to have a little more than 5" of up travel. They definitely stuffed well with out shocks or bump stop extensions though
