JDFabrication has a bolt in kit for 62 swap if you decide to switch.

I’m a first gen so doubt he has one for these and I’ve cut/plated so much of my frame there’s not much that bolts on anymore. Thanks though

About to swap between tomorrow and Sunday. Has anyone relocated 12” shocks using the factory locations? Driver side towards the rear and passenger side towards the front

Unless you have a huge lift you’ll have no up travel unless you relocate the shock mounts

Are you asking about bolting directly into the OEM locations or welding in the new relocates there? The Relocates are taller to allow the up travel, otherwise as said...

Move the relocated shocks there. I can See how the offset pattern would held axle wrap

How much and over how long (time?miles?) is everyone seeing the leafs settle down?
I'm a bit ass up right now and hoping it'll sit lower over time, curious if anyone had rough measurements on how far.

I'm on a brand new (not junkyard) Dayton 3+1 leaf pack with the overload removed (so now just 3 leaf) currently.

Got it all in last weekend. What’s everyone doing for extended brake lines?
    Moving up to 37’s :D

Havent done the swap yet, but in preparation i did custom stainless hydraulic lines from crown auto. I'd have to look but I think mine are something crazy like +9"

You'll have to extend the ABS sensor wires too. Just cut them and splice in a short extension.

For the ebrake, you can always swap in DCLB cables as long as you're not a DCLB. Not sure what the DCLB guys are doing for ebrake, if anything at all.

i got +7" (28") brake lines from headstrong offroad

little moving around and bending of brackets and i managed to get to full droop without having to extend the ABS lines

not sure why you'd need to do anything with the parking brake lines, they run basically along the front leaf eye so unless you are extending your wheelbase it should work fine as-is.
it was fine for me, just added some clipping points back.

I just got my Ruffstuff kit in and had a question about the bushings. After reading through the OP and this whole thread, I was under the impression that the RuffStuff kit comes with replacement bushings for the front and rear eyes of the leaf springs, as well as bushings for the rear shackle hanger. Mine arrived with only the bushings for the shackle hanger. I called Ruff stuff this AM and they said that the kit doesn't come with bushings for the spring eyes, and never has. I know there's at least 1/2 dozen posts in this thread with people talking about how much of a PITA the bushings are to get out of the leaf springs and how the ones supplied by ruff stuff may not fit pre-98 springs. I know there's a link to the energy suspension ones at the bottom of the thread for pre-98 bushings, but did I completely mis-understand something, or did Ruff stuff change this kit? They aren't pictured or listed as part of the kit on their website, so I'm just trying to reconcile what I thought I read in this thread to what I got in the kit from Ruff stuff.

I was also hoping for some input from @drr and @ovrlndkull on leaf springs as you guys are running heavier trucks. My truck weighs in at around 6000lbs most of the time, and the chevy pack I picked up is a 4+1 off and '03 silverado 1500HD. I am planning to remove the overload, for flex but I was wondering if you guys would recommend I add another leaf to bring it to a 5 leaf based on your experience running a heavier rig?

Thanks in advance for the input.
