It has become clear at this point that OP's arms are too weak to utilize this technique. This has been suggested numerous times but he keeps going back to the tying a rope to the tailgate idea. I think he may actually be a ridgeline owner that somehow got lost in tacomaworld.

Ridgeline has that bad ass swinging tailgate. That should be easy.

That makes too much damn sense.

I'm considering a teeter totter type mechanism that I can affix to the clutch and the accelerator and train a little person or robot to activate the teeter totter on demand.

I need to be able to get my truck to do something someway but this is all the information I'm giving you.

Unbelievable, I saw this yesterday and thought...............You have got to be kidding me. Now 17 pages later, holy shit. I still don't think he clarified bicycle or motorcycle? If it is a bicycle he must be trolling unless he looks like this............the next question will be how do I reach the pedals to drive my lease without doing any damage?

It's a bicycle because he was worried 5 days ago about someone cutting his bike lock and lifting his bike out.

This thread still going? I thought the guy was talking about loading a motorcycle which made sense to want to have something to pull the tailgate up.

This person has to be the most needy hand held person I’ve ever heard of on the internet. This is coming from someone who constantly stays away from saying anything negative to anyone on this forum. Geez man, become a man somehow! I say this assuming this isn’t a very elaborate troll thread to keep asking questions over and over in order to see how many comments it can get.

If he's a dwarf his other option would be to simply place his little tikes tricycle in the backseat.
