How to connect 5-pin to push switch

Hello all,

I have finished installing an LED light bar, however I have a few questions. As of right now with my current set up the light bar works, however the switch stays lit up even when the car is off, which may drain the battery unnecessarily.

I would like the switch LED to turn on when the car is on or when the button is pressed, but not be on all the time. Any thoughts on what to do? My current set up is below.

White - Green

Other White - Taped

Black - Black

Other Black - Taped

Red - Red 1

Other Red - Red 2

 

What are the wires on the truck side harness where do they go?You have checked with a meter they go where you think?

Are you using a relay ?

Just where does your switched power come from?

Are there any more directions it references a upper and lower light is one on with switched power and the other when the switch is closed .
