So I have a Trailmaster lift and I'd like to snag some parts needed to return to stock someday (if needed) or install a coilover lift and I'm curious on where to cut the crossmember off a part-out truck. Does this image show an accurate cut? Also, will any 1st gen crossmember fit on my 98? Like if I find a 2001 or 2004 frame, are they the same crossmember?

If I was a good welder and fabricator I would be all over this.

EDIT:NVM I don't think that would work on an 04 tacoma.
