The most important thing that I've read is that you should NOT use anything that will scrape or damage the paint. No screw drivers, no knives. Nothing like that.

Use a heat gun to warm the glue and then use fishing line to seperate the badge from the paint, and finish off with goo gone to get the residue off.

I used a hair dryer and fishing line. WD-40 and microfiber towel to remove any left over residue. I didnt put my badges back on, but the 3M stuff works good.

I am neither anti or pro plasti-dip.

Question, isn't the reason you use plasti-dip so you don't have to remove the emblems?

A lot of people plasti-dip them while on. Tape it off, but any overspray you can give it a good rubbing to get off.

(I am talking about the palsti-dip there)
