So I dont have the third brake light coming on in between the cab and the camper shell. On trucks I have had in the past it was a simple matter of pulling out the light bulbs.

Is this located next to the under dash fuze panel?

Yes, I understand the desired effect. But why bother? What is the value?

I have reasons to believe it will aid me in my journey towards self actualization.

Did you try that out? Does cutting wire 14 disable the 3rd brake light? I've also been meaning to do this, cuz I recently became aware my 3rd brake light reflects like hell off my topper at night.

Yes I had a hard time contorting around to get to the wires/plug under the dash. I intercepted the wire inside big bundle of wires in the driver's side door sill. The black plastic door sill just pops out. I unwrapped some tape and opened up the black plastic wire harness sleeve. I poked through the wires and found the right wire. After triple checking myself I cut the wire and taped it up.

89F79330-3741-4FBD-A095-ECE1DC3B4E40.jpg Caribe is a magic maker!!! I can confirm this works. I attached 2 BD s2 rear facing roof rack lights. It works perfect! Make sure you add a fuse before the T tap to not explode your truck!

Can confirm, snipped #11 purple wire in the bundle as it descends from dash into the kick panel, which disabled the CHMSL as intended. No more brake light reflecting off the front of my 6" cab-over topper into oncoming traffic.

Just wanted to reconfirm that caribe makaira was correct in post #20. You pull or cut that purple wire he has marked and it disables the 3rd brake light. Access to that wire is lower left driver side of dash pull the panel that has the cargo light switch and Auto high beam switch if you have that feature and the wire is right there. Once cut or pulled wrap with electrical tape. Thanks again for that diagram cuz I have been wanting to disable that brake light for some time now.

Honestly, this would be the easiest solution by like 5 miles.
