I'm also about to be in the same spot. My side windows I have the mesh fixed (without a zipper) but the canvas has zippers off to close the windows. But When I do the back window I want the mesh to have a zipper as well as the canvas portion. I have been running it through my head how to set these zippers up and a picture would help.

I think that I also got weather proofing on the top little corner.
Also by cutting it to less than 48 inches height it means that I don't need a larger 5'x10' panel, but can stick to the more common and cheaper 4'x8'
Do you know how much over lap is necessary to ensure a good seal?
    any rules of thumbs?

80/20 is super delayed for anyone looking to order soon.

I'm at 81 days for the sizes listed in the build and they still haven't shipped (supposed to go out this week).

I'm trying to get a partial refund for the delays, it's getting ridiculous.

I think they're super quick, but I wouldn't go with them unless you're okay with the raw aluminum.

I know one guy on here (@howied ) just painted it instead to save money and time.

When I build the bed storage setup (drawers/cabinets) I'll go cheap and use Tnutz

Oh I went with them for the wedge and I did miter corners because 80/20 did that and another member did it(but ordered from 80/20). Well Tnutz was like miter corners aren't for that(after I purchased 700 dollars worth of stuff and the cut mitered but had drill holes and stuff(not what I had envisioned)). Luckily it was salvageable. Although in general their stuff is subpar I think from 80/20.

I just want to build my bed platform(its movable) and then the inside storage. Have a week long camping trip for sept I need to get the bed platform made so raw is fine. But ugh I didn't want to give anymore money to them. I see their is a 80/20 distributor in my area so I might try that route first.

I ordered mine 5/15, got an update last week that shipping was delayed until 8/23. I got black ano, as well as raw for my separate bed platform.

Super frustrating, as I’ve completed everything else. Hoping I can even use the camper this year (I don’t do any winter camping).

@2ski4life7 It was my understanding that even if you buy from a local 8020 distributor, you’ll still have a massive delay, as they’ll also be ordering from them, unless they have what you need in stock.

I ordered through a local distributor to get 10’ lengths, and it was a bit cheaper per inch to go through them. I assumed I’d be saving on shipping since I could pick it up from them, but it’s getting shipped directly to me from 8020, so I still have to pay freight shipping.

Correct, from what the 80/20 sales people said they all just order it directly from 80/20.

I ordered from 80/20 in May 10 and got my stuff a week or 2 ago. There might be some local place that has stuff in stock but most likely not the 4.5" extrusion. I was able to buy the 1.5 locally and saved some shipping.

    I believe it's C2-43-25

are these the waterproof versions? Living in the PNW Is prefer the waterproof versions.

Also yes I believe it’s worth it as less than 75 unlock/locks on one of my Amazon ones already can’t hold a lock anymore.

I live in FL where we have daily monsoons and they are holding up perfectly fine. They are water proof and they do use a very common key. I need to see if I can get them rekeyed.
