yeah i was originally planning rigid and putting on a rack, but ultimately I don’t want to raise my truck height anymore so flex it is.

Speaking of height… how tall are y’all sitting? I’m about to do my suspension and I’m ready to not be able to park in any parking garages…

Going on the truck tomorrow morning. Already recruited my brother and both brothers in law. Tent is still being completed by my mother in law, but luckily that can go on later. This took way too long since life gets in the way, but super excited to finally see it on the truck.

They look like the Tern Overland windows. Pricey but really nice.

anyone figure out how to wire the 3rd gen cargo light as a flood for the camper? I like the idea of the flood light going on when I unlock the truck + functionality of using the flood light switch. Thinking about getting this third brake light

Thanks! yea, I enjoy having more light into the camper so I opted for the Tern Overland windows. I'll be honest, these things aren't cheap but they are a complete unit. Acrylic window with privacy blind, bug screen all built in.

The only thing I wish was that the windows came with gas struts instead and opened a bit wider but I might just modify that myself at a later time.

With my Ironman 4x4 lift... just at 7' for the highest point on the camper to be safe. Might be slightly less but 7' is easier to remember

Its Aluminum Composite Panels. You will need a 5x10 panel for the roof. Most plastic supply houses carry it. I know mine in Orlando do

Is it just me or does it seem as if it’s no longer possible to get 100” 1545 extrusion… 8020 website says their maximum length was changed from 102” to 89” to keep shipping costs down and tnutz has non “light” 1545 but their max length option is 96”… any alternative solutions? I’m located in Denver

I've heard this from a few people. Unfortunate! I'll see if I can track anything down.

I went with TNutz 96” to save some money and since I did a full pop top, I didn’t need the money extra length.

I’m not sure why 80/20 cares what the shipping charge is. They bill you for the shipping. I would call them directly.

So I called 8020 and they said if I use one of their local distributors I can order up to 240” lengths but if you go direct they can only ship out 89” lengths

I suppose you can order it counterbored and add a connector piece in the middle but it wouldn’t be as clean that way

Anyone have a Jig available for sale/use in the Phoenix, AZ area?

I have my top and bottom frames welded. Just need to position it properly and measure out the vertical angles.

Measured solely on parking garage entrances...my fan won't clear 7', but I can drive trough the 7'6" at work fine (but I definitely got out to check the first couple times). 2.5" (iirc) OME lift and 31.5" tires.
