Did you use the bulb seal that @Ripcord used? I went with a different one and put it on outer edge of the extrusion. I didn’t like the idea of the seal being that far towards the inside of the extrusion and knew water would work it’s way in.

I did. I’m about to add a foam rubber seal along the outer edge.

Did you silicone under the bulb seal where it makes the turns as well?

And did you silicone the outside corner joints (triangle pieces)?
    Silicone the roof and floor?

Another good route for water is where the front corners meet. The hinges don't allow much tension on the front seal, so by slotting/elongating the hinge bolt holes with a round file on the front you can use a set of clamps to compress the front and tighten the bolts up really well.

I can dig up photos if you need.

Yup. I did all of those things.

I pulled the corner brackets off today and there is obviously a lot of water getting in around those despite there being a lot of silicone on them. I’m thinking of using gasket maker on the corners. I think it will be better for the metal-to-metal contact sealing.

mind sharing what you used if you have easily available. I think I’m going to do this as backup.

I bought this one. For my setup the 25’ was enough but I also did shorter extrusions so my length is shorter than ripcord.

IMG_0203.jpg IMG_0204.jpg IMG_0213.jpg I got a boy end of last year so I had to make some adjustments to the sleeping platform to have a safe sleeping area for him.
I used the entry area and went from the leftover Alu dibond which was wedged into the opening to a drawer style platform on slides which can be pushed under the sleeping platform for entry. I already did a test and I can knee on it without it collapsing.

Some people curved the gasket material that you see in my photo around the corner(you’ll have to cut the bottom portion of the gasket).

instead of cork I made some plastic to cover the corner and then the gasket.

$50 each! thats much better than the $120 each. Looks like these might work out well for the ripcord camper

Long shot here but the current cost of the awning track for the Keder has doubled and shipping has tripled. Does anyone have extra or an abandoned project and willing to sell it?

For reference this is what I bought last time:

    Thanks in advance,

What gasket/rubber do you have around the edge or your door panels?

I might have a few scrapes laying around, how much do you need? Don't know if it makes since if you are only buying one but I bought mine here and all said and done I recall it being a good amount cheaper than from Keder. That was a over a year ago though so not sure if its still a good deal.

You may also consider using some tubing to secure the fabric. That's what I'm doing. There are a few posts in this sub about it.

My newest addition to the wedge…A $50 DIY awning which can be installed and stored away in less than 5 (maybe 3)min.
Also can be installed on both sides of the truck.
