Guess it's something I'll need to do. I camp year round in CO, so will always get condensation in winter.

If I decide to glue something up there, contemplating floor glue, for gluing down carpet etc, roll it on with a paint roller for good coverage.

What fans have people been buying for their GFC's? Guessing it has to be battery powered or tied in to the truck somehow

Oh you are! So far @Jarman02 makes #8.

Well well well, look who showed up. lol

Still working on a true quote. I had a price in my head but thinking it is a little high for a full set.

I may just make a run of the bottom pieces as those are the true "unobtainium" parts and would be less money then a full set on the buyer. Trying to keep the cost low as I realize these are for a DIY camper and DIY is all about saving $$$. I cant come close to the price that 8020 sells for the roof corner piece for(part #4332 at $5.21). For me to make the roof piece would almost be triple that price... for a part that is just a little longer...

Would y'all be interested in just the bottom pieces or a full set? How do I get a poll going on?

Depending on how much the bottom pieces are I would like to get the top ones as well if I can fit them in my budget. I would like all the corners to look the same plus no need for that cork! In conclusion... knowing me there is an 80% chance off getting all of them.

My camper is an idea/dream at this point, but I'd be in for a full set. Eliminating a water intrusion spot and that matchy matchy would be worth the money- to a point. What number do you have in your head- can you give us a range? Is that number worth your time?

Bonus points as they come my favorite color "black as my pagan heart".

I'm currently attempting the same style as you are with the full pop up vs wedge. Put 1515 cross bars on the roof for extra support. Have the struts for lift, just trying to narrow down the mechanics for the support. Been researching for the last few weeks and have come up with basically the same thing you have, just trying to land on a solid idea/design. Good luck and keep us posted!

BTW if anyone is looking to help with condensation issues, look at some of the boating industry products. I had issues in several of my boats until I got a basscat and it had an integrated fan system that circulated a ton of air. All 12v and compact.

Looks great man! glad to see other people wanting a straight up design rather then the wedge. Definitely will keep everyone up to date.

Alright... I have a price for the corner pieces. At this time I can only offer a run of one or the other, full set of roof/bottom pieces or just a set of bottom pieces. For this first run I'd like to keep it as simple as possible and only offer 1 product. Also they will all be black anodize. Sorry for the guys that want a clear anodize, this first run follows the Henry Ford model. If there is enough interest in the future I could potentially offer the choice of ether set and 2 colors.

So @bot102 @JMcFly @Afilao @WacoTacoma @Mr_Sheepdog @kmfkendall @Jarman02 lets see if we can all agree on one or the other. Maybe a vote?

    Full set shipped: $170

    Bottom pieces only shipped: $115

What are you guys thinking? Once I get a hand full of people to commit (thinking a small deposit) I can get material and get the ball rolling. Photo of product below.

My guess would be 2 weeks (week for machining, week for anodization) to ship to your door once production has started. I would need to see when my work would be able to fit it in but we are pretty slow right now so dont think it would be a issue to start immediately once material is in hand.

    I appreciate the interest!

Sooo... I've spent $2400 on truck parts in the last week, will probably have to hold for this back to let my wallet recover lol. Since my camper is 100% done and this would just be something "nice" to have

    Sorry gents

Anyone in colorado front range want some of the plastic panels? I’m about to order some from grimco and we can do a bulk order.

Just got back from a week in Utah and the condensation was nuts! Anybody have a good fix? I was thinking more along the lines of insulation/carpeting for the roof to see if that could help at all
