I have a ~2.25" lift with OME and some Alcan springs, and my rear brake hose is rubbing on the park brake cable(discovered when on a lift for an inspection, so fully extended). So I want to extend the hose before I break it or the parking brake cable. I have never worked on brakes before and am only really starting to do my own maintenance(just did spark plugs, tie rods for the first time.

So I'm looking to try to get some tips and tricks, things to do, and things to make sure I dont do. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Also could use a recommendation for what kit to get.

    Thanks

Like they said. Get a longer one. You will need a line wrench to do any work on the brake lines. Hit those fittings with some pb blaster, they are going to be real snug. Use rubber vacuum cap stoppers while things are disconnected to minimize brake fluid loss / to prevent air from making it further up the chain. You need to bleed your brakes afterwards. If you haven't done that before, it might be best to find a friend who has, or get yourself a power bleeder.

    4 run, 2 don't
Buy one of the many available; hell I even gave one or two away cause they are so abundant.

Undo with a line wrench, replace, and 2-person bleed them.

Shouldn't be long as you won't suck in much air from having replaced it.
