Something I started thinking about a few years ago . This summer finally fabbed a jig up. Tires are 37's they hit the foot well seam turned , have about 1.5 ish" yet to go . The bumper/flare is definitely a clearance issue. 35s should fit with no problems. The wheel is an original 1.25" spacer to center wms in center of wheel. Last pic is of the cab mount from underneath and it clears and has not been chopped. Going to make some cut file changes in the morning and cut the passener side to simplify assembly. Will add a few more pics , have to sort them out.

The lowers are all cut from 3/16" with 1/4" dom bushing sleeve kits. Upper are all .120 wall for now . May draw up and cut them too for a boxed welded style? If you have a good eye and pay attention to the cardboard you will see what's going on.

Made a bunch of small changes to cut file and welded it up this evening passenger side is much nicer than drivers, but dimensionally they are the same . When the time come's for the next set may add a few tab and slot alignment points. Tomorrow they should be on the truck .

Sick work! One hell of a first post!

Just to be sure I understand correctly your new arms are retaining the stock mounting points on the frame, correct?

got any pics comparing your arms to OEM?

Edit:just realized the last pic is a comparison with the LBJ cut off

Yes keeping the stock mounting points. Instead of asking how big of tires can I fit ,I will just show what is possible. There are some clearance issues just below the battery tray . Mud flares on bedside . I have an old 35 on a 15" rim I want to put on just have to pull caliper. But I'm quite sure a 35 will fit with no chopping cutting anything. Only reason for 37"'s is to run for a year to get fuel milage calculated with the added weight of all are gear /bumpers and what not. Winter of 22/23 it's all getting cut off for super duty axles . Been working on a bolt in sub frame to mount all the stuff. The plan is to be going out west for a month and half drive it ,live out of it and wheel the shit out of it. 1st is the 285s75r16

I'm not sure of anyone else making their own control arms on here?

I'm willing to pay lol, there just isn't anybody within like 500 miles of me that does anything remotely like this. Tons of plasma tables around and I like this idea.

It didn't die , just been napping for a bit. Been busy with other stuff in shop. And just have to get some more pics together. Have put about 3000 miles on them and rallied the truck around the property the other night in the snow and all good. Haven't put the sway bar back on yet, may or may not work? Still have the original tres axles @ 137,000 miles and they don't have any side effects from what I have done. Tires are wearing excellent .

Do any aftermarket lca’s offer any type of geometry alterations like this to allow more room?
