Did something similar on my light bar. I pushed 1'' strips of rubber tubing in between the fins about every 18''.

    Thing is silent now.

Unless I'm parked with a strong tail wind, I can hear it. Or I back up really fast.

I might try some foam pieces next. My trim just fell off so I bought some new strips again. They've almost fallen off before. Especially in the summer time. Had to keep pressing them back on once in a while. Thought about siliconing them on... They do have adhesive already, but it's not very sticky. But foam may be better.

Or I could squeeze a bead of black rtv in there. It's only one fin on mine and a very small fin at that on the bottom of the bar. So maybe like a 1/4" bead is all that would be needed to fill the gap. I doubt its gonna affect the heat dissipation.

^ doubtful as well. Give it a shot. It only needs to be a small section too. For instance, the foam I used are only about an 1.5" long x however the thickness of inbetween the fins is.. and I added them in 3 areas across the length of the bar. light bars really only need a little bit to rid the noise.

That's weird.. any 'loose' parts that might cause a rattle? Mine has metal filler strips along the front of the bar top and bottom, that fill in/cover all the little bolts all the way down. Those are kinda loose in there. But they don't rattle. Or if they do I don't hear them.

Other than that, maybe the wind drag is creating some kinda of feedback from the force of the air trying to go in between that and the cab. Making it kinda wobble at that speed.. Doubtful as most bars are pretty sturdy and I can't imagine it wobbling like that, but something to check if you dont figure out if it's something else.

Yeah that's what I was thinking of. Kinda like turbulence;) I used to experience that from my helmet when I rode my crotchrocket following traffic. Bounces your head all around. ha. You can sometimes feel it when following big rigs too at the right distance.

But from what you're experiencing, must be your light bar put in just the right spot to create that kind of turbulence. I wouldn't have thought that'd be the case. But crap. I'd hate to have to relocate my bar. Depending on your setup it could be easy enough, or in my case hard as the mounts are drilled in the cab. So I'd probly have to either 're drill or redo my mounts. Glad I don't have that problem. Ha.

Well let us know how it goes... Is it noticeable enough to maybe get a vid of it? Or is it just that slight turbulence in the truck that you can only feel?

I just mounted my 50" and have the vibration problem. I made some custom mounts to work with my oem rack and I think I made them a bit high so I might have to lower the bar

You can also just angle your light bar slightly up or down. I couldn't get on the interstate or highway without going crazy, but after I did that I haven't heard a thing.
