Honesty for me meeting other girls didnt help. All that would do is show me how better my ex was and made me think of her more. Best thing that helped was to hang out with your single friends. Whatever you do dont sit at home alone or it will eat you alive.

 

You need to realize that she probably doesn't belong way up on that pedestal you have her on. Remember what her many faults are and the pedestal will quickly lower and you will realize that she really isn't all that (metaphorically speaking of course).

Good luck with it. I have been trying to do the same thing. I date all the time but still, she is always on my mind. Actually called another girl by her name during "the act". That went over REALLY bad!!!

 

Dude, get back out there, sure time will heal all wounds blah blah, man up, step up, and go get back out there. Nobody likes someone who sulks around, might be fine for a few days but man, life is good. Things went south for a reason, if it was because of her, then good riddance, if it was something you did, learn from it, and move on! Lifes about taking chances, new experiences, and adventure. Do not let yourself get so wrapped up in the past , it happened. Go by the old saying that "Nothing gets you over one like another". I have been there many of times and have dated some hot girls. I know what you are going through dude. Best to occupy your time with other important things and better yourself. Nothing is more attractive to a women than a guy that has his shit together. I find getting a new gf is the best thing... most of the time finding a good one takes a long time and the waiting sucks but once youve found one its sooooooo much better.. i thought i would never get over my first gf who i dated for 2 years...i was a mess but the second i found a new one i was good to go... now im back in the same deal again after dating that one for two years.. feel like shit now but i know once i find another ill be good to go... its a vicious cycle
