I am sure his paper work already states the customer complaint.

We’ll see what unfolds over the next few days, if the dealer tries to dodge my phone calls and the problem then I will definitely give corporate a call or at least go to another dealer

Call Corp, had same issues. My truck was fixed after the 3rd time and given a 100k warranty.

What are the dealers getting screwed on being paid for warranty work these days? Used to be able to get things fixed but now people have to complain till they are blue in the face!!! Not good for brands trying to keep loyal customers I'd say!!!

Dunno but it seems to be a recurring problem

Did you go straight to the Service Manger?

Keep your paperwork and keep going up the ladder all the way to the top to Corporate
    Level.

I can’t believe those numb nuts.

I’m trying to get my truck in for the service foreman to look at it, as of right now but he apparently gets off work at 4 and I can’t get there before then. If they try to dodge me asking to get my truck seen then I’ll take it higher up

If you have less than 36k mi on it you’re still covered by factory warranty. Even if it’s not on the recall list, I’m sure Toyota doesn’t want to risk your rear end seizing up at 80mph on a 6 lane highway. Possibly with a trailer etc. I’m also pretty confident that some vehicles get missed by their tracking system.

I took my OR in a few months ago, and my dealer also refused to correct the weeping diff. Due to my work schedule, I simply don't have time to run around to various dealers. I may open a case with corporate. Is corporate contacted via phone or email?

Dealerships are paid for warranty work by corporate but at a lower rate than their advertised hourly rate we pay as consumers. In other words, warranty work is not as profitable.

That doesn’t mean they’re exempt from performing warranty work

True, but when some look at what they do as pure dollars and cents and leave out the customer service aspect you get places as you discovered. Sad but reality

what dealership are you taking it to? I have three that are within a 20 min drive, i'd take it to a different one. If it's under warranty they shouldn't refuse the work, they just have to put a claim in with toyota

    going to be fun!
When I had an issue that they wouldn’t deal with under warranty I had a paralegal type up a letter that was worded really firm and that got extremely positive results.....
