How to get dealership to not flash ECU?

How do I inconspicuously ask dealership to not flash the tune off my truck?
I had my truck tuned a few months ago and last time I went to the dealership for maintenance they flashed the tune off my truck. I’m guessing it wasn’t intentional but still annoying because the closest tune dealer is 2.5 hours away. I’ve got more maintenance coming up soon and I’d love to avoid this problem again.

 

There might have been a recall that required them to re-flash the ECU. General maintenance doesn't require a re-flash.

 

How do you know they reflashed it?

 

I agree with this, I'm not gonna waste my time reflashing/updating a module programming unless there is a reason such as a recall or customer complain that is covered in a tsb, I can't just claim that a update is needed randomly and charge corporate warranty for the related labor time(which isn't much anyways)

It would help if you yold us what work you had done during your last service visit.

 

I was going to say don’t go to the dealership, but what are you aiming at having done at the stealership, that maybe you could do yourself? Or not, just curious why they would undo your tune.
