hey tw, i have a pest proble, this is my first year in the house and im starting to have an issue with roaches because of the cold weather i think, used to id get maybe 1 or 2 a month and either zap em with brake cleaner or if they were outside id zap em with brake cleaner and set em on fire...

now its starting to get cold outside and now that my house has started to stay in the 50's i have turned my heat on...since i have turned on my heater ive had about 4 roaches...and its been less than a week

i dont leave food out but i do tend to leave stuff on the floor like clothes and powertools and excersize equipt ect... i never have had pest control, i am in a rented house so id hafta let my landlord take care of it. and i just got done spraying boric acid all over my house i even sprayed 2 roaches with it (btw they were on my ceiling for some reason?)

any other advise for ridding roaches? i hate the fuckers and im alergic to em

Move. Boric acid posed to take care of them, I'm not sure. No food left out, even crumbs could be a feast, and they love moisture. If that helps.

landlord problem not yours. . . since ive moved into the house im in now we've had to have the whole front yard dug up, new toilet downstairs, carpet cleaned from the over flowing toilet. . . ..and i wired the whole house with cable 2 weeks ago too. but that was a time warner issue where they wanted me to pay 300 dollars and i decided i could fix it myself.

    cleaning helps, seriously
get rid of paper boxes and stuff like that
they like to have something on either side of them so if you have gaps between the floor and the wall fill those
boric acid works but you can get a bottle of bug killer, I can't think of what it is right now, but it is a white bottle with a red cap/trigger and it works amazing.

yea, people can break out from them and have issues with their sinus

if they kept things clean and tidy the roaches would go elsewhere, that is useless if you live in a crappy place that has places for them to live and thrive

Use diatomaceous earth or also know as DE, kills pretty much ALL bugs, roaches, ants, mites, bed bugs, bees, and the list goes on AND its natural. Sounds to good to be true? i thought it was to until i bought it

Im not sure how the boric acid works but DE works by slowly cutting the insect up cause the DE is made up of super tiney fossils of Diatomites which if magnified are like pieces or glass or razors, and on the worlds hardness scale being Diamond number 9 DE is number 7, so its pretty damn HARD even though when you feel it, it feels like fine powder. So it cuts the insests up and then they dehydrate and die. Acid sounds like it just fries them lol Plus DE is positively charged and insects are negatively charged so if they just walk by it it literally jumps on them like a magnet, awesome shit, i use it on my chickens for bird mites

    ill look out for DE

boric acid breaks down insects shells and also attaches to them so they can track it back to their layers and spread it. it also causes them to produce gas and since insect cant fart they die
