I see so many options, I would like to do the work myself, don't wanna pay anyone. What's that best way to get some flex action?

Well, I would say probably both. I'm still learning but, the best is to do sas if you're looking for a rock crawler type flex. That includes a lift as well. I think a proper lift like ome or bilstein or whatever will get you lots more flex over stock. Right now I've got a spacer lift and it blows. I probly had more flex without it but that's how I bought it. Otherwise a mid travel setup would be the next best thing without going to sas, which is very expensive, and a really big job from what I gather. The best bang for the buck is to do a proper lift with new coils, shocks, and leafs. You'll get places. Not as much with a sas though.

I'm probly getting an ome setup myself. With some dakars and extended rear shocks. That should help my wimpy 2wd quite a bit. Be thankful you have 4wd at least, ha.
