    That doesn't sound like the OEM Tacoma Trifold cover. Mine has a single release handle to the left of center on the underside. To my knowledge that is the only OEM tonneau available for 3rd Gen Tacomas. Does yours say "TACOMA" embossed on the topside near the tailgate?
