How to get this rusty hitch out?

    Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
    Finally got it! This is the rust flakes leftover in the receiver. I let it soak in blaster for about 2 weeks, then broke it loose with a 20lb maul. Then tied it around the tree again and yanked it out. Took 4 tugs to get it to come out, it was wedged in there pretty good.

    So glad to have that ugly thing out!

    Thanks, there was a lot of dirt in there too. Like the previous owner backed it into an embankment and it got packed full of mud. That definitely didn't help the rust issue any.
