    Hi folks,

I’m contemplating selling my 2011 regular cab 4x4. My question is thoughts/recommendations on how to quantify the value when it has aftermarket parts? I’ve added an OME lift, arb front bumper, Fab Four rear bumper, leather, CarPlay head unit etc. The truck has 155k miles on it.

When I use any sort of valuation tool online, it says ~$7k but that’s obviously not accounting for any of the upgrades.

    I’d appreciate opinions/thoughts. Thank you.

I'd list it for at least 20k and see what happens

    Not joking at all

Value is tricky, list it for what you want for it and someone might be willing to pay

Best thing you could do for your pocketbook is go back to stock and sell aftermarket parts individually.

I agree with this, regular cabs are bringing stupid money right now.

Thanks all, I appreciate your responses.

A follow-up question; would you sell somewhere like eBay or bring a trailer?

With modifications the problem is whether or not someone will value them, because the prospective buyer will have different interests/opinions/wants/needs/uses for the truck.

I took your advice and threw it up on Craigslist. We will see…

If you still have the stuff you took off to be able to put it back to stock, you can add the word unmodified, which many buyers prefer. The current market is insane so you'll probably be able to get much much more than you expect.

I can’t pull the aftermarket stuff off because I do not have the OEM items.

    This.

"Addtions" rarely add any value. In fact, they can actually hurt the value depending on what they are.

If I were in the market for a used truck, I would take a clean, unmolested rig over one that's been modded for sure.

Last thing I want to buy is someone else’s “handy work”.

Find an enthusiast or at least someone willing to pay extra for truck that’s already molested/modified.
