Tolls are unfair in Texas. If you don't pay a $5 toll for a year or two it becomes a $100 toll! I wrote wrote my congressman and got no response.

Not how rich the town, it's how cheap ass the contractor. Texas has contracted with some real tightwads.

They keep raising the GG Bridge toll. I think next year it's supposed to go to $8, if not more.

It's kind of like a speeding ticket, except instead of getting a ticket for speeding, they give you a ticket for existing on earth.

That happened to me a couple years ago when I moved and didn't even think about my toll tag after my card that was on their file was jacked. I went through tolls for a year without paying. Wasn't getting notices because I never updated my address with NTTA.

A toll I ignored until James made this great thread. I just paid it over the phone, $6.22. :)

A little of this and a little of that.
I'm anti-toll. Elimination is the answer.

Surprisingly nobody asked if EZpass will work in 2016, and at what angle stops paying tolls. :D
    Is it too early?
Or can you use GoPro mount for holding EZpass?

My Oklahoma PikePass works in Texas, but you gotta have the right size Tars.

Yup, had a fraud alert on my card, cancelled it, forgot to update on Fasttrak, ran out of money, 3 tolls crossed with no money turned into $120 in fines. Fuckin horseshit.

BUT, I sleep better at night knowing I've been slipping through on my bike without paying a toll for almost a year now. Suckers.

My old boss left the dealership plates on his Mercedes for an entire year just to avoid tolls.

got pulled over on indian nation turnpike and was given a speeding ticket. for 60 in a 55 construction zone on a saturday with no workers. had a crack in my windshield. cop was like, "i don't know how y'all do it in Texas, but i could write you up for that, too." kinda pissed me off the way he said it.
