I have recently installed an All-Pro APEX set of rear springs, with +1.5" shackle and 5125 shocks attached to a u-bolt flip kit with new tabs to mount the shocks.
All of my reading has indicated that 45* is the optimal angle for the shackles. How do I go about getting the angle to change? It is currently at about 80-85*. But doesn't ride too badly.
This is at just about full flex. The droop side has the tire just touching the ground.

How long should I let the springs settle before I look into moving the hangers to change the shackle angle? Or should I try something else?

For a DD i wouldnt really worry about it. flex it fully with your shocks and with out, betting your shocks are the limiting factor, so changing the angle wont help much, little softer ride but not much. if you really want to, put 1000 miles on it with some weight in it then cut and reweld the hanger forward a bit.

Thanks for the response, that's just about what I though. The only reason I was concerned was I will be putting in longer shocks late this winter or early spring and I thought it might get worse.
