I guess I should clarify, have you seen a newer lifted Ridgeline? and in person?

I saw a Ridgeline running through the sand at the beach. After about 20 minutes it shutdown because the AWD was overheating. It did run pretty impressively in the sand though, despite the quick overheating, the AWD was awesome.

Asking me to identify a new vs old Ridgeline is like asking me to identify which one is Rosanne Barr vs Rosie O’Donnell, I ain’t taking that ride, so it just doesn’t matter.

    Sorry :anonymous:

    understood.

I actually briefly considered a Ridgeline when I bought my 2022. but at the time, they were starting at 42k for base model. No go

If i feel like putting my Cruise control at the posted speed limit and cruising in the right lane, there is nothing you can do about it. Get mad all you want.

Fuelly asks for gallons filled and odometer readings when you make an entry. It gets no data from on board readings. It's accurate.

Technically, you're allowed to cruise at 10-15 below the limit, depending on the highway.

I've said it before, but the right lane is for slow pokes, and the left lane is for maniacs. If everyone sticks to this mentality, we'll be fine.

And thats only as accurate as your odo. Change tire diameter and your odo readings change. When comparing my odo to gps traveled distance and google maps it was about 20 miles short each fillup, and that was with 265/75s with about 70% tread life.

    #1 Put smaller tires, 245s .
#2 Change oil & oil filter ( use OEM Toyota Filter and Mobil or Valvoline Oil )
    #3 Change Air Filter
#4 Use top tier gasoline, Exxon, Shell etc.

I've calculated my truck to run 11.8MPG or 248 miles to a tank. This is very bad. 2007 Taco V6 4x4 Double Cab with 2 inch lift and Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac
285/75/R16. is this simply because my lift and tire size that it is this bad or does this indicate an actual issue with my vehicle. Help please.

Did you buy it used or do you know whether the truck has been regeared?

Your tire choice definitely doesn't help as there isn't a 285/75/16 AT tire less than 51lbs and most are >60lbs. Switch to SL rated 265s for a mpg increase.

Do you live in a mountainous region? If so then your mileage cannot be compared to someone living in the flatlands.

Winter fuel takes a mpg hit. Are you taking short drives? if so that also kills mileage averages.

Driving style plays a large roll in Tacoma's mpg.. are you accelerating briskly or are you using the throttle and brake like a toggle switch (constantly pressing one or the other?)
