Awesome. Well, awesome that you figured it out. Not awesome that the first bypass didn't work. All I can say now is good luck with finding those wires.

Another one. Any idea why the viper unlock wires do not unlock the doors when all the doors are shut and locked? They will only unlock when the doors are open. If they are shut and locked the unlock doesn't work.

I'm following closely on your comments @erod998 . Also have a 2012 and installing the same Viper. But I've got the EVO KEY bypass. Looked to be less wires. How was the hookup of the Viper using this thread? Any outdated items that we should know about?

Luckily, the 5706v and the 5806v have the exact same wiring.

I used this link for the wires in my Ignition harness.
    http://www.modifiedlife.com/2012-toyota-tacoma-keyless-entry-starter-wire-schematic/

Do not use the original ones in the reference sheet for the older pre-09 tacomas. Just when it says to, for example, "Viper H3/4 to the Tacoma's Green/Black Starter 1 wire" *(that was a complete random example, not even the right wires). Just look at that website and see what color the Starter 1 wire is and make the connection. No big deal, and it was easy.

Currently, I have not installed my DB-ALL2. I am today. I also have a problem with the locks. As mbroughton02 made a super awesome diagram for the auto headlight off feature.

ALL CREDIT FOR THAT DIAGRAM GOES TO mbroughton02! He made the diagram, and explained to me how to use it.
The Viper fakes a driver door opening, turning off the trucks computer and lights.

There was a slight mistake in his reference sheet, in his he has the Viper Factory Alarm DISARM going to that diagram instead of the Arm. Use the Arm wire.

I am about to see if this issue fixes my unlock problem. Currently, the truck will only unlock when its running, or when the doors are open.010_7a36530f4afa205cf0e252e3249cf09a62b55256.jpg
Going to connect the Disarm wire. Might not have to do the Arm wire since the current lock connection works. If for some reason it doesn't, I could possibly diode isolate and still use mbroughton02's diagram for auto headlights and splice it into here. I'll let you know if that works.

Next, my parking lights are not working from the viper. They are apparently negative in the 2012. But when I tested it, I think wherever I made my connection is that they are positive. I'll switch the fuse later and let you know what happens. Overall, it did take my a long time, and I am still not done. But I think the few small problems I have can be fixed today. I just got to figure out how to hook up this DB-ALL2 and then I can get to work.

Oh, and I soldered all connections. Some smaller wires I cut, slid some heat shrink on, then soldered back. The bigger wires, such as the ignition harness ones, I just cut 3/4 of insulation and soldered, then heavily taped the connection. Solder all.

Has anyone installed the DEI 535T or 529T window modules?

I've also wondered the same. I'd like to have it where all my windows are one touch auto up/down and when the truck is armed they roll up.

Just installed my system this weekend with 2 535T's. It does work and if you can install an alarm system, then it's pretty straight forward. You have to fish 4 wires through into your driver door for your driver window. All other wires can be tapped into the kick panel wire bundles.

First off, detail your connections on your ignition switch. What year is your taco? Are you able to start your truck with your key?

Ok. I finally got my wiring worked out. Previously, the alarm wouldn't go off if I manually popped the lock and opened the door. The door triggers for the 2014 on the front of the fuse panel is not the same as the 2005-2008. The wire colors and pin numbers are the same, but the harness pictured on page 1 of this thread is different. Here's a pic of where mine are.

If you are only using the remote start, it should be easier. Compare the user manual of the 4806v with the 5706v and 5704v. See if the harnesses of either of those match completely, and you can use the guides on the first page of this thread to install.

Looking at the Amazon page for the product, it doesn't have a siren that you mount in the engine bay, but it does have a hood pin sensor...so it makes me wonder if it does have a certain level of an alarm system in it. But simply, no. Using just a remote start shouldn't change the install process much at all. As for the bypass, I have no clue as I chose the DBALL2.

The hood pin is just to disable the remote start when the hood is up (to prevent the truck from starting while someone is working under the hood), no security around that.

Ill have to do more research on the bypass, maybe just get what others on here got so i can maybe get some help if needed! Thanks all, this is gonna save me $300 installing myself

2005, so i am hoping to follow the original instructions and the wiring will make sense. Scared that the newer products are different than what was used there though, and ill also be using a different bypass (preprogrammed ideally) so ill need to work through that too

Yea, I asked because the remote start connections are different for the newer models.

@ranger098 look at my posts in this thread. I used the PKALL on my 2007 and it worked great.

Thanks, i saw what you posted.. what was involved in programming the PKALL? I am hoping for a "connect some wires, hold a button and turn the key" kinda solution, not a "Buy this extra box, download this software on your computer, sync the data from your computer to the box, then put the bypass in your truck and hope you did it right" kinda solution...
