No, the Rigids are sealed. Looks like I bought them more for the TRD Proser look more than anything, haha.

Thanks - I re-read the thread and realized you already mentioned that they were sealed! My mistake

The light output of OEM fog lights is tightly controlled by DOT in the US, and the equivalent where I live in Canada. I don't think Toyota is allowed to make them any brighter than they are, which is why aftermarket would be a better option if you are after more light output. These TRD Pro Rigid LED lights would be designed to stay within DOT specs for their purpose, which is likely no brighter than the standard halogens that meet the same spec.

I was trying to plastidip the chrome bezels black on my limited yesterday and completely screwed it up trying to remove the dip in between the crevices. I feel really dumb knowing I could have just pulled off the bezels with a screwdriver. Will be doing that and re-dipping tonight after work

Has anyone found an aftermarket alternative? I love the look of the bezel, but not worth the price. I've see the flat panel from rigid, but i would prefer a more stock-ish look. I could make one in CAD, and mold it and everything, but i would rather not go through all the trouble.

Yes you can add another light. There is room for a small light. IMG_4988.jpg

Here's a link to a post in another thread that shows what I did, which used the Pro bezels, but Rigid aftermarket lights.

Where were you able to get just the bezels? Was price reasonable?

I got the bezels from SparksParts, they were about $90 plus a little bit of shipping.

I came up with this this morning, and I wanted to see how it looked. I think it would be pretty cool. I would have to replace the lights, as this would block the one large round light. The idea is for it to fit into the stock fog light bezel and then have a second piece that snaps and holds from the back...not figured out that part yet, just wanted to see what this part looked like. I was happy with how it came out.

Nice video, seems really simple and straightforward even if accessing the rear of light from above.

You say aftermarket one time in your post, THIS title doesn’t have aftermarket. I was referring to THIS thread. It could give the impression you mean “aftermarket” as in installed post purchase.

Just clarifying for anyone that might read the post in THIS thread. Promise it will be ok pumpkin.
